The Reva-NXG was revealed recently at the Monaco Electric Vehicle Symposium & is the result of a collaboration between Reva, DC Design & Encore Software, the developers of the Simputer. The two-seat roadster has a range of 200 km per charge & a top speed of 120 kph. It uses a high performance 37 kW AC induction motor powering the front wheels & Sodium Nickel Chloride batteries instead of the conventional lead acid batteries. The concept also boasts four-wheel independent suspension & a regenerative, hydraulic braking system. It also has a touch screen display for dashboard functions & integrates GPS navigation, GPRS modem & MP3 music as well. Fantastic stuff, Oh… god, when do we get to drive it?
