Users can simply say “Play yoga video on YouTube” or “Play make-up tutorials” to search for and watch video clips they want.

Customers can launch the Google Assistant by pressing the ‘Micro’ button on the remote control. This allows to perform commands by voice such as changing the channel or volume, launching apps or the radio, and searching VoD catalogues. They can also perform everyday tasks with the Google Assistant, such as assembling a shopping list, checking the weather or traffic and controlling other smart home devices, recognizing precise commands such as:

Mets TMC

Lance La Casa de Papel on Netflix

Show me movies with Jean Dujardin

All in all, from the comfort of your own couch, you now have all the capabilities of the Google Assistant right from the remote control. It is a nice increase of performance compared to the basic voice search integrated until now.
