Stay updated on Telegram with latest updates from Google Home/Assistant Google Assistant ecosystem.

Google Assistant is continuing its global march of expanding localized language support, bringing the total number to 15. Google is aggressively rolling out localized language support because the goal for the Assistant is to be available to help you get things done, no matter what language you speak, what device youโ€™re using or what question youโ€™re asking and Google intends for Assistant to be a truly global service.

Google Assistant is built on two decades of experience in Search as well as natural language understanding, computer vision, machine learning, and understanding user context. Thatโ€™s how Google Assistant is able to understand intent behind words to handle follow-up questions and complex, multi-step tasks. And itโ€™ll only get better over time โ€” with your permission, it can learn your preferences, your likes and your dislikes โ€” all done in a private, secure way that puts you in control.

Google Assistant lets you have a conversation with Google to help you getย things doneย in your world โ€” from telling you about your day, to finding the fastest route to work, finding directions to nearby restaurants or nearby points of interest, to know more aboutย olympics, to plan for yourย valentine evening, getting score updates, setting an alarm or a reminder for the next day, or seeing your calendar entries โ€” all in your language.
